The Director-General of the Russian Nuclear Energy Agency Kiriyenko announced the negotiations with the Indian side on Monday and announced that the coordination of the technical parameters for the construction of the third and fourth units of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant (second phase project) has been completed. Earlier, Russia and India signed a protocol concerning Russia’s provision of an intergovernmental agreement with India to build countries No. 3 and No. 4 of the Kudankulam nuclear power plant. According to the protocol, Moscow will provide 4.2 billion U.S. dollars (2.62 billion U.S. dollars) in exports**.
