Analyze the economic benefits of hydrophilic photovoltaic glass coating

In the actual operation of the photovoltaic power plant, the accumulation of dust on the glass surface of the photovoltaic module cover plate is an important cause of the loss of power generated by the photovoltaic power plant. How to reduce the loss of power generation caused by low dust is currently an important challenge for the operation and maintenance of photovoltaic power plants.

In addition to cleaning solutions, hydrophilic coatings on some special surface structures can also reduce the loss of power generated by dust. In this paper, through long-term outdoor power tracking tests and economic analysis of PV modules using hydrophilic coatings and conventional glass PV modules, the results show that hydrophilic coatings can effectively reduce the loss of power generated by dust and reflect a better economy. Experimental program

Two photovoltaic modules with the same initial power were selected for the experiment. One of the modules used a hydrophilic coating technique on the glass surface, and the other used conventional tempered glass. The initial electrical performance parameters of the two components are as follows.

Long-term outdoor power tracking test was performed on the two components. The test component was not cleaned during the test. The power output of the two components was compared to obtain the following power gain curve of the hydrophilic coating component relative to the conventional component. Based on the power generation test data of different seasons, the mean value of the power generation gain of the hydrophilic coating components relative to the conventional components is 2%.

Economic analysis

Taking a component with an initial power of 260W as an example, according to the on-grid tariff of ¥1 per degree in East China, the effective peak-watt-hours per year of 1050 hours, the economic benefit brought by the use of hydrophilic coating is: 0.26X10501X2% per year. =¥5.46.
