Factors affecting the flow coefficient of V-cone flowmeter

1, the flow state of the fluid

The Reynolds number is an important parameter that characterizes the fluid flow characteristics when it changes in the flow state of the fluid. It is the ratio of the inertial force to the viscous force (internal friction) when the fluid flows. Because the flow rate of the Reynolds number fluid is larger, the influence of fluid viscosity on the fluid state is smaller. The closer the fluid is to the ideal state, the viscosity effect can be neglected if it reaches a certain level. At this time, the influence of the fluid state on the flow coefficient is also constant.

2, V cone flowmeter design size

The diameter of the pipe and the size of the cone of the V-cone flowmeter are fixed and do not change for a certain intercepting part under certain installation conditions. Therefore, the size influence is a constant; it can be directly measured by a standard measuring instrument.

3. Detection medium

The density of the medium can be detected by looking up the table according to the temperature at which the medium is detected.

4. Flow parameters during detection

This part mainly has flow signal and differential pressure signal, and two parameters are available in the process. According to theoretical analysis, when the flow velocity (Reynolds number) is large enough, the flow coefficient should be a constant, and the flow coefficient is constant, and there is a certain correspondence between the differential pressure and the flow.

According to this theory, as long as the fluid state meets the requirements, the flow coefficient should be a constant, and the flow coefficient calibrated by each flow point should also be a constant.
