However, it was not until the middle of the 20th century that practical combined cycle power plants began to be available. The key to developing a combined cycle is to develop a high-temperature, high-performance, high-power gas turbine. In order to adapt to the oil shortage situation, effective coal burning in gas turbines is also a key technology. At present, the world's advanced industrial countries have established combined cycle unit products. Among them, the largest power has exceeded 600,000 kilowatts, and the highest thermal efficiency has reached more than 47%. It is used as a thermoelectric unit and can be used by the unit. The fuel utilization rate can be as high as 80%, and the longest running time of a single unit has exceeded 100,000 hours. It is very difficult to increase the thermal efficiency of the heat engine by 1%.


Therefore, the combined cycle of steam turbine and gas turbine can greatly save energy, and the steam turbine has a good energy saving effect on the crane and saves power.
