Overall situation
In terms of import and export, from January to May 2016, China imported 12,513 plastic machinery, a year-on-year increase of 73%; the import value was about 600 million US dollars, down 7% year-on-year; the average unit price of imports fell from 90,000 US dollars per Taiwan in the same period last year. 50,000 US dollars / Taiwan. The large increase in exports was mainly due to the export of 31,634 other extruders in April, with an export value of US$27.12 million. In May, other molding or molding machines were exported to 29,034 units, with an export value of US$12.7 million.
Specific product
According to trade products, China imported 1904 injection molding machines from January to May, down 16% year-on-year. Imported injection molding machines amounted to about 200 million US dollars, down 24% year-on-year; imported 3D printers 2009, down 43% year-on-year, 3D printer imports The amount was 18.73 million US dollars, which was the same as that of the previous year; 7632 other molding or molding machines were imported, an increase of nearly 20 times.
From January to May, China exported 10,994 injection molding machines, a year-on-year increase of 19%, with an amount of about 380 million US dollars, down 6% year-on-year; the number and amount of export blow molding machines decreased by 26% and 5% respectively;
Although the export volume of extruders increased by 8 times year-on-year, the export value only increased by 1% year-on-year; the export volume and amount of 3D printers increased by 325% and 69% respectively; the export volume and amount of plastic calendering machine increased by 79%, 4 %.

In terms of the source of imports, the number of imported plastic machines from Asia in January-May accounted for 85.04%, accounting for 53% of the total, of which imports from Japan decreased by 12% year-on-year; imports from Europe accounted for 6%, accounting for 43% of the total. Among them, imports from Germany increased by 8% year-on-year.
From January to May, among the top 10 countries in China's plastic machine export market, exports to Vietnam, the United States, Indonesia, India and Mexico grew faster, while exports to Thailand, South Korea, Iran and Bangladesh have fallen.
