Accelerating the development of the world's leading process technology, single-loading capacity of the country's largest Czochralski crystal furnace, which is one of Bayer Optoelectronics's key development strategy. In 2011, the company decided to set up special research funds on the basis of the original, and concentrate experts in multidisciplinary fields such as machinery manufacturing, automatic control, and software, and focused on developing a furnace to produce monocrystalline silicon with a production capacity of 350 kilograms and a high efficiency. Energy-saving TDR-105 single crystal furnace to further meet the needs of the international market.

Yuan Yuping introduced that this time, the single crystal furnace with a capacity of 350 kg developed by Bayer Optoelectronics has achieved many innovations. Furnace design, through changing the furnace structure, to solve the gas flow direction, can effectively reduce energy loss. Especially through repeated research, the transmission part is more stable in operation. At present, the maximum input capacity of a single furnace used by domestic production enterprises is only 180 kg. In the future, using the TDR-105 single crystal furnace, the production cost can be reduced by about 30% compared to the 95 furnace, and the energy consumption can be reduced by about 20%.

Yuan Yuping also disclosed that the N-type single-crystal silicon rod drawn by the newly developed single-crystal furnace was sliced ​​and made into an N-type solar cell using IBC technology after the International Solar Energy Research Center of Konztans, Germany, and its cell conversion efficiency It reached 22.3% and reached the advanced level in the world. P-type monocrystalline rods were drawn. P-type solar cells were produced after sliced ​​and made by domestic companies. The conversion efficiency reached 19.5% and reached the advanced level of similar products. In order to speed up the industrialization and market application of this single crystal furnace, Bayer Optoelectronics has started to establish industrialization demonstration application bases in Yixing City, Jiangsu Province.
