Dong Chao, president of the Wuhan Washing and Dyeing Industry Association, introduced that there are currently more than 3,000 laundry facilities in Wuhan, including large-scale chain stores and small workshop-style couples, and the disparity in strength is very large. Among them, there are 2-3 million employees, but only 5% of the dyeing technicians are licensed. In order to promote technology sharing and help the industry form a scale effect, it decided to establish a dyeing and dyeing alliance. Dyeing and dyeing industry associations will provide technical support to the units within the alliance. With the "one card," consumers can consume at all union laundry shops. At present, more than 200 cards have been tested and can be used in more than 80 laundry facilities.

“We are old state-owned enterprises and have been suffering from lack of funds to open stores quickly. Even if we have mastered the core technology of printing, we are not as good as some chain laundry shops in terms of scale. Through alliances, it is possible to expand customer sources and reduce procurement costs."

The reporter learned that in August this year, the Dyeing and Dying Coalition will also set up a technology base with a variety of specialized departments including luxury goods cleaning, fur cleaning, printing and dyeing, and more than 30 dyeing and polishing masters at the helm. GEP Laundry Manager Fu Zaibiao said: "The technical characteristics of the single laundromat are mixed. In the future, there will be alliances to provide technology sharing, which will help Wuhan's washing and dyeing industry grow bigger and stronger."
