Petrobras’s oil and natural gas production rose to 2.518 million barrels of oil equivalent per day in July

Petrobras said on the 19th that oil and natural gas production in July rose to 2.581 million barrels of oil per day, while domestic oil production rose 1.4% to 2.005 million barrels per day in the same period, while overseas production fell to 150,600 barrels per day.

Comprehensive media reported on August 20 that Petroleo Brasileiro, Brazil's state-owned energy giant, said on the 19th that the company’s oil and natural gas production rose slightly in July, as offshore platforms have resumed production after routine maintenance.

Petrobras said that in July, the average daily production of oil and natural gas was 2.581 million oil equivalent barrels, which was higher than the 2.563 million oil equivalent barrels in June.

In July, Petrobras’ domestic oil production rose by 1.4% to 2.005 million barrels per day.

In June, Petrobras announced plans to suspend operation of P-43, which operates the Barracuda oil field in the Camps Basin.

In addition, Brazilian oil companies’ overseas oil production fell to 150,600 b/d in July, compared to 154,600 b/d in June.
