Reporter: In December 2005, when Haibeide (Shanghai) Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. was founded, we interviewed your company. Now more than two years have elapsed. What is the development of Haibe in Asia and China?
General Manager of David Laprad: In the past two years, Haibe has an average annual sales growth rate of more than 40% in China. Now Haibi has a product business in Asia that has surpassed the US and become a Haibeide company. The world's second largest market, the expansion of the Asian market has become an important driving force for Haibide's global business growth.
Manager Zou Xiaodong: Compared with two years ago, Haibeide (Shanghai) Industry & Trade Co., Ltd. has established a team of sales engineers and service engineers in the Chinese market. This professional team listens carefully to the opinions of Chinese customers. The purpose is to better integrate Haibi's world-leading products and technologies with the Chinese market, and strive to provide the most suitable and matching plasma cutting equipment for Chinese users, such as this time. The HSD130 high-speed plasma cutting system was introduced at the exhibition, which was developed on the basis of many feedbacks from China.
Reporter: Haibide's business growth in the Chinese market is so fast, what do you think is the most critical factor?
General Manager David Laprad: The most important factor is Haibeide's emphasis on technological innovation. Haibi has more than 70 patented technologies, all of which point to the same goal – better Customer service, including improving production efficiency, cutting quality, and minimizing production costs. And around this goal, we continue to strengthen sales services and after-sales technical support, and now in the Chinese market, there are more than 16 professional teams to serve Chinese customers, this team is still expanding.
Reporter: Please briefly introduce the HSD130 high-speed plasma cutting system introduced by Haibei at the Beijing Essen Welding Exhibition. What is the biggest feature of this equipment?
Manager Zou Xiaodong: The HSD130 plasma cutting system can help Chinese users achieve high production efficiency while maintaining high cutting quality. Compared to flame cutting, HSD130's leading technology has great advantages in cutting speed, cutting accuracy and cutting quality. The cutting speed of the HSD130 is seven times faster than flame cutting, and the higher cutting efficiency results in a significant reduction in cutting costs per meter. No preheating and minimal perforation delay before cutting and perforating allow the device to provide more effective cutting time. Since the HSD130 does not cause deformation of the material when it is cut, the cutting quality is improved accordingly. At the same time, since the cutting surface does not require secondary processing, the production time of the entire workpiece is also reduced.
With a 100% duty cycle, the high-speed plasma HSD130 fills the space between the Haibe Powermax series air plasma and the most advanced Haipide HPR series of fine plasma. The HSD130 can be cut with air or oxygen. Thanks to the patented LongLife® technology, the life of the consumables has doubled. The highest production perforation capacity is 25mm and the maximum cutting thickness is up to 38mm.
Reporter: Do you think Haibin will encounter those opportunities and challenges in China in the next few years?
General Manager David Laprad: At present, the market share of flame cutting equipment in the Chinese market is over 70%, while the plasma cutting equipment has less than 30% share. In the mature North American market, the figure is just the opposite. It shows that the demand for plasma cutting in the Chinese market will continue to grow at a high speed. From the scene of the Beijing Essen Welding Exhibition, we can see that the number of plasma cutting equipment exhibited this year is more than any previous year. This shows that the Chinese market is a good one for both Haibide and other plasma equipment manufacturers. opportunity.
Haibide has brought the best technology to China, but the next challenge is to let potential customers in China realize that only advanced equipment and professional after-sales technical services can maximize production efficiency and reduce long-term production costs.
